Sunday, March 20

Everything is fine here.  We are not sure what the TV says about the election, but it is very quiet here.  So don't worry.  We were able to go to Club Indigo a resort about 5 miles away today.  It was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing.  No one got too much sun, but we DID eat too much!

Tomorrow the work begins.  There are 27 teachers signed up for the conference.  Tiffany will be helping Lisa at the conference.  The guys will be building furniture for the school.  Lisa and the boys put together some supplies for tomorrow.

When Lisa showed the Storybird books to the Director of the Orphange....she cried.  When she showed the Storybird books to the Director of the School....he cried.  They were so impressed and so amazed....at the teachers, the students and Mark at Storybird.

Message from Lisa to Joanna:  Everything looks great for tomorrow.  Paster Andre really liked what we prepared.  Jim and Gayle had to give me an extra room just for all the school supplies.

Message from Lisa:  Sam:  this isn't the same without you here.  I think you will have to come next year.  The boys need to come too.  The Tremendous 10 are fantastic and they remembered me!!  They ask about you and Cody.  I love you all.  Thanks Braden for blogging.  Didn't the computer break last year and keep you all from blogging?  That is starting to sound a little suspicious.

Message from Bob and Tiffany:  Kids, we so wish you guys could be here to play with the boys.  You guys would have so much fun with them.  Hope & Tanner:  Glad to hear you're having fun.  Hope, I'm sure you could learn a lot of crafty things from Katrina and Marisa.  Grayson:  Hope you're enjoying your vacation as well.  One of the boys here, Stevenson, reminds us so much of you.  We miss you all!

Message from Bud and Jesse:  Tena, wish you were with me here. I have so much to tell you in just a short time that we've been here.  Jody and Justin, you are truly missed, and can't wait to tease you both.  Someone please tell Glen Roberts that Bud has learned how to take and give hugs better.  Down here, that is a must.  Bud lost his hat to a bunch of orphans, they looked better in it.  Jesse is being attacked by the boys.  He needs it....and so do they.  Talk to you all soon!

-Katrina- Hello! sounds like you guys are having a blast down there. We love getting on and reading about your day. As Hope already said we went bike riding today on the path through Ottawa. We also played alot of wii and painted crafts downstairs. I had fun watching Tanner try on all our dress up clothes upstairs. We took pictures and sent them to you so you will see them when you can use your phone again. Have fun at tomorrow and stay safe! love you

Lisa, so glad things are going well! Your comments about the tears in response to our books made ME cry! I am so wishing I were there w/you, but am glad I stayed here w/my daughter. (She's doing fine, but the surgery was rougher than expected.) Sounds like you are working hard, and also having a little fun. We will be reading your blogs in our class, so keep them coming! As the French say, "bisous," or "biz" for short.(loosely translates as "hugs") :)

Sam, Miss you Lisa! Say hi to everyone and tell the boys hi! Everything is good here. Braden has his first home game tonight and he is excited. It is so good to hear of all the great things going on. God is awesome! Hopefully Bob is getting some whiffle ball tips from the boys. We are praying for all of you.

Teresa (Lisa's Sister)---Wow! Today was the first chance I've had to follow on the blog. And of course I'm at school crying about the delivery of the children books! My high school students in my Parenting class would like to know: Can American families adopted Haitian children again? How long of a process is it?
Take care and hope the rest of the week goes as smoothly as it has so far! Love ya!

Nana, what is goin on down in Haiti? I am really glad to hear that all the kids got something and are enjoying them. Its really refreshing to see how God works in other countries. Hope you keep having fun and are staying safe down there. If you would like please bring one of the kids back as my souvenir. Thank you so much.
Love Hannah (your favoirte niece)
